One World: #TogetherAtHome
WHO and Global Citizen are putting on a very special digital and broadcast event called One World: Together at Home
The World Health Organization and Global Citizen have announced a series of virtual, no-contact concerts to inspire people all over the world to stay inside and take action and celebrate workers on the front-line of COVID-19. The global broadcast and digital special gathers an impressive line-up –curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga– with acts such as Elton, John, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, Alicia Keys, J Balvin, Stevie Wonder, Billie Eilish, Sam Smith and many more who will perform live from their homes.
Taking place on April 18th at 8PM E.T, the event will be largely broadcasted across major media outlets in every territory. Contributions from corporate partners of the even will go directly to the WHO’s Solidarity Response Fund to support and equip healthcare workers around the world.
#HealthyAtHome
Another initiative by the WHO is a #HealthyAtHome challenge, inviting people to share how they are looking after their physical and mental well-being during these challenging times. Whether it is eating a healthy diet with fruits and vegetables, being physically active, dancing, spending quality time with their families, working out, yoga, meditating, reading, playing games or listening to music, the WHO is inviting everyone to upload a short video using the hashtag #HealthyatHome and tagging your friends.
